Opening a salon

My good friend, Allan, has several businesses under his name. He started with a computer shop right after college. And then when the shop reached its one year anniversary, he put up an internet shop right next to it. Because the two businesses did good for one year, he traveled the summer after that year. He got into the clothing business because of it. His clothing shop specifically caters to beach wear and accessories.
Now, after several years, all three businesses are doing good. I went to his internet cafe and the first time I went there, there were 15 computers. Now, after a couple of years, it already has 50 computers. The place was renovated and two floors were added. The computer shop and clothing store are still the same, albeit the place more brighter than before. He is now thinking of opening up a salon.
Allan saw how several salons in the metro are doing good despite the mediocre service. He wants to be able to put up a salon that will be affordable to the masses but will give a better service than other salons. So he is looking on the best way to start a salon business. I told him that he can now buy a complete salon software that will be able to help him with everything he needs in a salon business. I am thinking of opening a computer shop with my aunt but I have to save some more money before I can do it.
