It is nice to live independently, I have tried that, well, semi-independently when I went to college at the age of 16. Until I started working at 21, my parents gave me monthly allowance.

You are responsible and accountable to yourself but when you know that your family needs you,like in your situation, it is hard to move out.

I know the dilemma you are facing right now.In the Philippines,I’ve never had the chance to live alone either.However, I do agree with the first comment that it could be quite expensive living alone.

If your aim is to be independent then go for it.You would grow a lot by being on your own.
