Couples working in the same company

I saw this entry about couple working for the same company at e-Pamilya…
It just reminded me of the couple I once worked with. The woman works as the unit head of a spin-off group of the main company. She is the marketing director of that group/company. The guy works as the head of the creative artists of the main company. There is no conflict there, considering they are working for “different” companies, right? Wrong.
The marketing director sometimes dabble as the QA head of the creative team. That’s where the conflict starts. How do you criticize a husband when his work is mediocre? She sugarcoats everything. And since the couple have been working for the company since they were both single, the owners overlook this situation.
I might have worked with a couple who shouldn’t really be working for the same company. There might be couples out there who are in the same situation but manages to remain professional at work. But how do you separate a personal against a professional life anyway? What if the two of you had a major fight and you have to be together for the whole day, stuck in the same office?
Do you think it is wise for a couple to remain working for the same company?

I do not really think that a couple should work at the same department. Same company, it is okay especially if they met there. Same department, no.

I guess, it would be okay if they didn’t work at the same department. My cousin says that her company doesn’t allow couple to work in the same company…..
