Increase in prices

I normally don’t carry a list with me because I know by heart what we lack in the pantry. Plus, I buy only the essentials. What little we buy outside of it are sweets for the little one at home.
The last time we went grocery shopping, I was shocked at the increase in the cost of the same number of grocery items I bought the last time. It increased by almost a thousand pesos! I realized then that prices have really soared. Well, I guess I was still hoping I was wrong before that trip to the grocery store. But prices are increasing in every commodity in the world. I guess even in laughlin hotels, huh? A little tightening would do good to our budget. And next time I go grocery shopping, I will not be surprised by the total amount of the items I bought.
