Running a household

Before, when my mom was still alive, I always thought budgeting was easy. But now that I am doing that myself, I realized it wasn’t easy at all. It takes discipline to be able to stick to it. There will always be occasional lapses, especially on weekends when you go out. Chances are, you will go over budget. This happens to me again and again. I am trying to stick to it and be good and all. But it is hard.
The same thing goes for planning. The hardest part for me is planning the meals for the entire week. It frustrates me when I can’t think of a delicious, affordable and easy to cook meal. Sigh.
