Emotions

Not everyone can be generous when it comes to sharing his thoughts and feelings. I say that because the men in my family are like that. They can be very vocal about many things but when it comes to their emotions, they can be tight-lipped. When my mom died a almost three years ago, we saw my dad cry once or twice but never with tears pouring down his face. We knew he’s crying but not openly. He is like that. I think got this tough persona from him.
I always tell my sisters that we might as well go buy Nikon binoculars so we can take a look inside my dad’s mind. It might work better than asking him directly. They were raised that way by their parents, not showing their emotions. And since my dad has 7 male siblings, being tough had been and always will be normal for them.
Good thing me and my siblings are the opposite. Well, for me, I might not cry in front of everybody that much but I am not afraid in sharing my emotions with those close to me.
