My buddy and sister V

It is my sister’s (V) birthday today. She comes next after me, second eldest among us siblings. We are opposites when it comes to a lot of things. We can be the best of friends now, and enemies the next minute. When we were younger, we loved having fun while on the way to and from school. We are close in age. She is turning 28 today. I turned 30 last August. Naturally in school, I knew her friends and classmates, she knew mine. We would often reminisce about school days and ask each other about our friends and people we both know. There were friends of her that I didn’t approved of, even until now. She has reservations with some of mine. I guess that is natural as well.
The point of this post is that, I love my sister even though she can be a handful even at 28. Late last year until early this year, she went on a work hiatus. We were together every day. Since she was not doing anything, she really took care of me. Literally. In the morning, she would fix me a cup of coffee, would get me breakfast. In the evening, she would fix me a cup of milk tea and would accompany me until the wee hours of the night. We bonded a lot that time. Especially that time we went to Baguio with our other sister.
I wish her happiness and financial stability. I wish that she will get to marry the man who loves her for who she is. She can be a brat at times and she needs someone who can understand her quirks. And like any normal sister, I wish her more and more blessings from above.
We could be going on different directions but know that I will always be here to support you every step of the way.
