Unused gift

I will be seeing an old friend of mine by first week of October. I haven’t seen him and his girlfriend in a long time. The last time I saw them, they gave me an alli because they were concerned about my health. They wanted to help me lose weight fast. But I was afraid to try it out. I enrolled in a gym instead. Now that the weight is back, I am afraid when I see them, they will know right away that I did not use their gift.
