Earn it or work for it

My aunt bought her son an xbox 360. My brother, when he saw it, was now asking for one as well. But I am not giving in. He has to work for it if he really wants one. Either he save something from his allowance or he shows me high grades for this semester. Otherwise, I won’t be budging and giving him something like that he hasn’t worked for or earned. It is bad enough that I spoiled him growing up. I won’t be adding impulsive buying to it.
