Under One Roof: Focus on Family

But not everything written here is about my family. I also write about society issues concerning the family. When I write reviews, I make it a point for it to be about the family as much as possible.
That’s my purpose when I created this blog. To write about the family and issues concerning it. My family is not only composed of immediate family members (parents and 5 siblings), it also includes grandparents on both sides, my numerous uncles and aunts in my father’s side, my equally numerous cousins, the little kid at home, and a friend. If you are a Filipino like me, the family is very important for most of us. We grow up with grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins surrounding us. Reunions are integral in most parties. And that’s how it is with me.
This post was written as a reminder to me to write more about Filipino families and the issues concerning the smallest unit of society. And you can expect more posts to come up after this.
