My Brother's Life

He’s been telling us this desire since he was in 4th year high. He told me that he would rather enroll in PMA in Baguio City. But I have the same answer again and again. NO!
You see, I don’t want any member of my family near guns. Or anything resembling too much violence. Granted being a soldier/policeman, serving the country, is an honor for most people. They can get all the honor all they want. Never mind if I will labeled as unpatriotic with my adamant refusal for my brother to become a PMA student. I just want a peaceful, quiet and violence-free lives for all of us.
Hazing, spitting on food, rigid training… that’s not a life for my brother.
Fortunately, my brother listens to me.
