Under One Roof

You know, I grew up with so many mother figures around me. Aside from my mom, my dad’s younger sister, Tita Windy, is also a mother of sorts to me. I remember hearing her telling my parents if she could adopt me when I was around seven or eight years old. My parents said no but that didn’t stop her from being a second mom to me. She would be there for me all the time. Dropping me off to school, picking me up if she’s in the area, shopping clothes, shoes and bags for me, and plainly spending time with me. If there is one person in this world who acted like mom, that’s my Tita Windy.
