MYM #6 – Choco-late de Batirol
Posted by Adie on June 14th, 2010. Filed under: Mellow Yellow Monday. My sisters and I went to Baguio City for a getaway. One of the popular places to go to while in Baguio is Choco-late de Batirol. The little cafe is known for its delicious traditional hot choco blend. I was able to have a taste in a previous getaway with friends and I loved it! So I made sure that I brought my sisters there.
Of course, we ordered a cup each of the delicious traditional hot choco blend. A man served the hot choco in a pitcher and blended it well in front of us. It was fun to watch!

Just look at Hazel. She was so excited to taste the hot choco. We also ordered Bibingka which is a bestseller according to their menu. It actually tasted good!

We loved the taste of the traditional hot choco blend. One of my sisters said that it’s bitter but she still liked it. For me, though, the taste was nutty and yes, a bit bitter. But that’s the character of the drink.
When I go back to Baguio, I will surely drop by the cafe again. It is located in Camp John Hay, by the way. Be sure to check it out if you are in Baguio, okay?
Happy Monday everyone!
