Money matters within the family

There are matters that should be kept within the family only. Like financial matters. Unless the person is really close to the family, then he or she shouldn’t be given information about money matters. It’s just not right. And I got this from my mom.
It is just unfortunate that we underwent a period wherein our financial problems were made known to a lot of people. This kind of thing ends up with people looking down on us and thinking that we’re always short on funds.
I can’t tell you how many instances we’re looked down on even by our very own relatives.
