More time to pray

I feel like I need more time to pray. I think I am just mouthing words instead of letting it come from the heart. I think that I am doing the Lord a disservice by praying daily but really talking to him once a week. It’s not right.
Sayang there’s no affordable spiritual retreat I can attend. I wish there’s one that I can go to, even if it’s only for a day or two. I know I can pray anywhere, anytime. But nothing beats the peace and quiet of a retreat house. That’s where you can really hear yourself think and feel more affinity towards the Lord.
