Intervention

One of the reality-docu shows that I watch is Intervention. It’s about families asking for help in intervening with their love one’s drug or alcohol addiction. It’s a really good show because it not only shows us what happens to a drug or alcohol addict but also to their families. How the dependent’s family members and love ones suffer alongside the addict.
I love shows like this because it shows you that if you think when you are down you are the only one affected, it’s not true. Your family suffers alongside you. That’s the reality of life. Someone is always just as affected as you are. And if you have a problem, the best place to go back to is home. The best persons to turn to are your love ones. They won’t lead you astray. If they tell you that someone is influencing you in a bad way, chances are they are right! So listen to your family. Stick to them like glue and you won’t get into trouble.
If you haven’t seen an episode of Intervention yet, I suggest you do so. It’s in BIO in cable TV. Or search the web I am sure you’ll find an episode somewhere.
