Entertainment via tv shows

And since most families here would rather stay indoors than stand outside their houses to gossip or chat with others, they get their entertainment via watching tv shows. I should know, our family does that as well.
Going out is costly. Yes, we go to the mall often but it’s mostly strolling around. I know other families can’t afford to do that all the time, go out and spend money meant for basic needs on whims. So it’s really staying inside the house and finding entertainment there.
