I am single. By single, I mean no boyfriend at the moment. I am still looking for the elusive someone to make me fall head over heels in love with him. Do I have some requirements? Seriously, I only want the guy to be God-fearing, honest and smart. No need for the guy to be handsome and well-built. A totally hot guy will be a bonus hehe… But if the hot guy lies to his teeth, then I would settle for my kinda guy who’s not so hot anytime of the day.

What brought on this entry? I just saw some hot lingerie. You know, when you are single and content with it, it doesn’t mean that you will be content all the time. There are days when you see things like lingeries and such and something in you will be triggered, making you question why you are still single until now. I encounter days like that, to be honest. There are times when I see a guy holding a kid and a yearning will surface within me. Single women out there know what I am talking about. Somehow, when you are turning a year older in a few weeks, the yearning surfaces more frequently.

But you just have to learn to suppress the yearnings and wait for your turn to have that someone in your life.

ALSO, I love dropping (Entre)cards. So I thought of making a list of my own. I was able to gather 101 participants in a month. Thank you to those who listed down their blogs. But well, that also means you haven’t found the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. Being single also means that you still have to endure the constant nagging from your family, friends and relatives about snagging that guy, staying slim (I was advised to take diet pills like Phentermine no prescription needed to hasten my progress to my ideal weight), and keeping tab on my biological clock that is ticking away. There is also that constant tug in your heart when you see a woman carrying her baby. Of course, most single women want to have a baby someday.

If there is one person who knows all these, that would be me. Coming from a large family, I do tend to receive the show of “concern” whenever there are family gatherings. I tend to be the recipient of most criticisms because they feel that I am not doing anything to remedy by “singleness”. But I bear it with grace. After more than five years of receiving those “advices”, I got used to it already.
