Under One Roof

I did a boo-boo when I transferred this blog to another hosting account. I forgot to back up my posts! It was really a boo-boo moment because I transferred several blogs but this is the only one I forgot to export the posts to an XML file. Good thing I was able to do an export last January 19. It was the one I used and I only lost 8 posts. Still, I could have avoided losing those posts if I didn’t forget to back up first.

Darn!

Anyway, I will be getting a custom theme for this blog. Soon. After the two I am having made for other blogs, this one will follow suit. I hope Mr. G of the world wide web will see the efforts and award me back my rank in the next update.

Hoping…

I was not able to save the header that I was using before. I am still searching for it in my archives because I know I was able to transfer to the external hard drive somehow. For the meantime, this will be my header. Still representative of a family (home) which is what this blog is all about.

As some of you know, this blog was hacked. I was able to return it to normal but I deleted the old files fearing it already contain virus. That’s why even the old theme was chucked away.

Anyway, I kinda like the orange-y feel of the header. If my DSL connection comes back, I will be tweaking this theme a bit more.

Until I’ll be able to get back the theme that I lost, this will do. I like it but it’s too pink for me hehe

Anyway, let me tell you about what happened to my blog yesterday… it got hacked! Either by someone or by a virus that I got while fixing a friend’s blog. It’s the same problem, the index.php files were targeted. Anyway, so I lost my themes. Fine with me as long as the posts and comments are intact

Happy Friday!

You might have noticed the irregularity with which I update this blog. The reason is that as much as possible, I limit my posts here to topics about the family. Or anything concerning a member of the family. When there’s really nothing good to write about, I don’t update. It’s that simple

But then, I realized that I will lose readers if I don’t update regularly. I will start writing regularly about big news concerning the family. Still about the family. I read the news daily, at least three times a day for online news sites. I might as well use the information I gather from those sites to update this blog, right?

Apparently, this blog is not well indexed according to Blog to Profit. Ha! They were the only one who said that! I have referred a number of bloggers to them and I am feeling not well-compensated for it. I have no way of tracking it but I know I was able to refer so many bloggers when I announced in another blog of mine that they are still up and running. But I believe I only got 2 or 3 referral payments from them.

I just hate that they can’t say it right out that they don’t have anything to give to me. Hmp!
