I visited my friend, Tim, last Monday and she cooked Chicken con Repollo and Patatas for me. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of it. And for our merienda, she made Mocha Shake ala Pancake House! Super yummy! Her brother worked for Pancake House before and he taught her how to do their super expensive Mocha Shake.

In most Filipino families, especially those with Chinese blood like mine, Lumpiang Shanghai or Filipino Spring Rolls is a staple in parties and celebrations. It is yummy, I tell you! Last October 12 was our area’s fiesta. And of course, we had lumpia as part of our lunch.

Have you ever tasted Lumpiang Dalagang Bukid? I love that one, too!
